Wemolo hires Cyrill Schöni as Country Manager for Switzerland

The former Google and McKinsey consultant will drive expansion in Switzerland and raise awareness of the European PropTech scale-up's digital parking space management system.

Munich, November 13, 2025. Wemolo (www.wemolo.com), the leading PropTech company for digital parking solutions, is strengthening its management team: Cyrill Schöni, an experienced manager from the Thurgau region, is taking over the position of Country Manager Switzerland with immediate effect. In his role, he will be responsible for the further development of new and existing business in the Swiss market, the expansion of partnerships with operators and the area of customer success. Wemolo currently operates 150 parking areas in Switzerland and registers more than 100,000 parking transactions every day – and the trend is rising.

The 31-year-old Schöni studied at the University of St. Gallen and brings extensive experience in strategy, business development and digital growth. Most recently, he worked on various international projects at McKinsey & Company in Munich, prior to which he spent four years at Google in Ireland as International Growth Lead for Switzerland and Austria.

Making Wemolo part of the mobility landscape

As Country Manager Switzerland, Schöni reports to the management board. He is responsible for the entire Swiss team – from sales and operations to customer success. The aim is to establish Wemolo's business model in Switzerland on a long-term basis: parking space operators digitise their spaces via the Wemolo platform, thereby tapping into new sources of revenue. Drivers can conveniently book and use parking spaces via the Wemolo web-app.
