The license plate scanners are installed near the entrance. The exact location varies from location to location. Our license plate scanners have a range of up to 100 m and can capture a width of approx. 12 m. They can therefore be mounted on facades, lamp posts or on roofs.

Third party and long-term parkers who park their vehicles without authorization are recognized by our system and automatically receive a sanction notice.

Terms and conditions and information signs are installed on each parking space, which draw attention in unpaid parking space that it is a customer parking space with a corresponding maximum parking period. Our customer dashboard makes administration easy. Parking permits can be stored here permanently or temporarily for long-term parkers, employees or suppliers, so that they are excluded from the applicable parking regulations.

It can be determined individually whether the applicable maximum parking period should also be applied to the use of e-charging stations. Alternatively, Wemolo offers free extension of parking time via QR code for e-vehicle drivers.

If the maximum parking time is exceeded in unpaid parking space or if the parking area in paid parking space is left without payment, Wemolo's internal claims management comes into effect. The owner of the vehicle is then charged a contractual penalty via owner inquiry from the Federal Motor Transport Authority. In this way, Wemolo ensures that parking regulations are complied with and parking fees are paid.

When renting out a parking space through Wemolo Booking, there is no strict minimum or maximum period. Landlords have the flexibility to set the rental period for their parking space separately. This makes it possible to set up both short-term (from 1 hour) and long-term (from 1 day) leases. However, it is advisable to define clear conditions regarding the rental period in the written rental agreement to avoid misunderstandings and to ensure a good rental relationship.

Yes, as a landlord, you can set the prices for your parking spaces individually. Wemolo Booking allows landlords to determine their own parking fees based on factors such as location, availability and type of rental (e.g. underground parking space or parking space in a company parking lot).

Should a tenant use the parking space without paying the agreed parking fees or occupy it longer than specified in the rental agreement, Wemolo Booking provides for certain measures to support landlords. If the tenant does not release the parking space after the rental period has expired, it may be necessary to take legal action to claim outstanding payments or to stop using the parking space.

License plate recognition uses cameras and software to accurately capture vehicle plates, identifying vehicles entering and exiting and monitoring their parking duration.
