The Forettle Center, a popular shopping center, suffered from declining visitor numbers and dissatisfied customers, as third-party parkers used the 90-minute free parking period to go into the city center. Real customers from shops and gyms were often unable to find a free parking space. A solution had to be found to avoid third-party parking and secure parking spaces for center customers - without a barrier system that would have caused traffic jams on the busy street.
With Wemolo, the Forettle Center was able to increase customer satisfaction and use the parking spaces profitably. The innovative, camera-based solution without barriers enables efficient utilization control and a relaxed shopping experience without traffic jams.
Barrier-free parking monitoring:
Four cameras reliably record vehicles entering and exiting and ensure smooth control. This prevents traffic jams and creates a stress-free parking and shopping experience.
Flexible free parking regulation:
The previous flat-rate free parking time has been replaced by a targeted regulation. Retail customers receive 90 minutes of free parking time via QR code flyers, while gym visitors can conveniently unlock their parking space at a terminal in the gym. Third-party parkers pay to use the parking spaces, which generates additional income for the center.
Modern payment options:
The machines offer a variety of payment options - cash, card or online up to 24 hours after exit. With QR codes, customers also receive discounts on parking fees and benefit when shopping in the center.

Wemolo has a solution for almost every parking space. In a non-binding conversation, we will be happy to show you what needs to be considered in your parking space. In principle, clearly identifiable entrances and exits, a power connection (230V) and good data reception (LTE/5G) are an advantage.
The license plate scanners are installed near the entrance. The exact location varies from location to location. Our license plate scanners have a range of up to 100 m and can capture a width of approx. 12 m. They can therefore be mounted on facades, lamp posts or on roofs.
Third party and long-term parkers who park their vehicles without authorization are recognized by our system and automatically receive a sanction notice.
