Parking space management or parking space monitoring refers to the organization and control of parking areas to ensure optimal use of existing capacity. The aim is to reduce traffic and environmental pollution and improve the balance between parking space demand and supply. Satisfaction is increased by minimizing parking violations and optimizing parking space availability.

The hardware required for parking space management remains the property of Wemolo GmbH during the contract period and is therefore not purchased by you. Wemolo is responsible for the reliable operation of the hardware.

Wemolo has a solution for almost every parking space. In a non-binding conversation, we will be happy to show you what needs to be considered in your parking space. In principle, clearly identifiable entrances and exits, a power connection (230V) and good data reception (LTE/5G) are an advantage.

The license plate scanners are installed near the entrance. The exact location varies from location to location. Our license plate scanners have a range of up to 100 m and can capture a width of approx. 12 m. They can therefore be mounted on facades, lamp posts or on roofs.

Third party and long-term parkers who park their vehicles without authorization are recognized by our system and automatically receive a sanction notice.

Terms and conditions and information signs are installed on each parking space, which draw attention in unpaid parking space that it is a customer parking space with a corresponding maximum parking period. The corresponding contractual penalty for infringement is also clearly visible. In paid parking spaces, these signs are supplemented by others that explain the parking process using the digital system. The signs are large and easily recognizable at the entrances and exits and on the parking area. Vehicle owners agree to the terms and conditions by driving into the parking lot.

Our digital parking monitoring uses electronic means to monitor your parking spaces. Using AI-based software, cameras reliably record the license plates of all vehicles — without any barriers.

The use of digital systems makes it possible to optimize parking times. Parking space use is made efficient with parking time limits and long parking times are avoided. The parking time limit is set in consultation with your individual needs at your location.
